Methodology
How the Signals Work
Simple rules, consistently applied. No black boxes.
01
SMA50 Trend Filter
Price above SMA50 = uptrend. SMA20 also above SMA50 = confirmation. Trend flips from negative when both conditions re-emerge.
02
Relative Strength vs SPY
ETF price ratio to SPY, tracked against its own SMA50. Sectors rising faster than SPY get a double-up arrow — the strongest buy candidates.
03
Entry Tranches (T1/T2/T3)
Scale in gradually. T1 on trend start, T2 on 20-day breakout + rising RS, T3 on 52-week breakout. Each tranche has clear, objective criteria.
04
Exit Discipline
Trim signals when RS weakens (TR1, TR2). Full exit confirmed when price closes two consecutive days below SMA50. No guessing.
